As your projects evolve, these become the work horses to help make your jobs easier.
Here is my take on power-tool priority order…
-Drills these are very versatile and useful for many applications
-A small shop vac… very easy to take along and very handy for cleanup
-A Sawzall With a variety of good quality combination wood-metal cutting blades, very versatile
-A circular saw… keep an old carbide cheap blade handy for anything that may have nails in it
-A palm sander… keep a variety of sandpapers handy
-A side grinder 4 inch is adequate… a diamond blade is great for concrete and or tile; have blades for metal and or grinding handy as well
-A small bench belt Sander… this is very useful
-A bench grinder with a wire brush wheel as well… this is very useful to sharpen anything metal and or clean anything metal
-A large shop vac… If you have a larger project and you have enough space a large shop vac comes in very handy
-A chop-saw… if you’re going to do any type of trim or cabinetwork
-Table saw, very versatile if you have the room
-An air compressor
These may not get used as much but nice when you need them.
