This is an area that is generally used on an ongoing basis, and often with a certain degree of urgency. It deserves some time to be well thought out and well equipped! This means adequate storage for laundry related products as well as space to fold or hang clothes as needed.
It should be a space easy to keep clean and well vented as needs dictate. A laundry tub can be a huge addition and not super complicated if space allows.
For tight quarters you may need to get creative, but those doing laundry with a significant reason to be appreciative!
