Bathrooms…. These guys are often the second most expensive rooms in the house… That makes this another great place to save some money if you can do it yourself.
For a smaller room there are a lot of possible things that require some periodic attention. Any time you have Lots of water, Extreme humidity, as well as other stuff that needs to be dealt with—you have potential projects!! Avoiding the MUST DO NOW situations is the name of this game!
STORY: I have dealt with just about every imaginable issue in the bathroom… (some of them made changing my kid’s poop y diapers seem like a picnic!!!!) Some bathrooms are tiny which can add a whole dimension of its own!!! Have good tools …. Be patient…. replay that HOW TOO video three or four times if you need to!!!! Know when to call in the experts…. Sometimes you might need extremely specific tools or essential equipment…. I recently had to address a tub/shower valve unlike any I had ever seen… We called in a highly recommended plumber…. Even he had to call in someone else with special tools and know-how…. Bottom line: ‘don’t let pride get in your way!!’

Towels… toothbrushes… razors… TP, you name it! It’s a lonesome feeling when the TP runs out… there’s no refill nearby and you’re the only one in the house! Maybe it is worse if you’re not alone in the house! Regardless some storage considerations may be in order!
The bottom line is a well-maintained bathroom will go a long way to a happy household!
